This is the very last pedal Brent Hinds ever worked on with us.

Every time we talked, he’d light up: “this is it, this is the one.”The Final Prototype is a fixed-wah locked exactly where Brent always wanted—his perfect half-cocked tone, the one he chased for decades.

He joked Hendrix’s ghost told him the spot in a dream, and finally, he nailed it.

He had insane plans for the artwork—MechaGodzilla and Mothra ripping the skyline—but we never finished them.

So we left it raw: scuffs, sharpie marks, prototype box, still warm from his hands that afternoon in Prague, summer 2025.

All Brent wanted was to create, plug in, and let it rip—his sounds waking up bedrooms and garages everywhere. This pedal was that dream, and he’d tell us: don’t let it sit in a drawer. He poured his soul into it so it could be heard.

Releasing this isn’t goodbye. It’s turning his favorite tone loose so it lives on through all of us—exactly how he hoped. Step on it and he’s right there, sideways grin, volume wide open, making the neighbors wonder what the hell just landed.

Hand-built in Prague, serial-numbered, played and approved by ears that knew him.

It’s not just a pedal. It’s the last chord he gave us.
